Times Where The Law And Enforcement Impacts Our Personal Lives.
The law that prevails in the land effects every citizen of a country. Each country and state has different laws that make their citizens abide by them. A breach of law can result in paying a fine or in imprisonment.
Does law work the same for all?
The law however does not affect everyone the same way. Law acts differently to each person according to their age and gender. There are different types of law such as criminal law, consumer law, company law, family law Mornington, and even human rights law.
Why is law important?
In the past, people use to commit many crimes and offences such as murder, theft, robbery and rape. But there was no code of conduct to punish these wrong doers. This made the crime rates increase massively and criminals were not afraid to commit the same mistake again and again. Also, many domestic courts did not have a proper solution for many crimes, therefore people who are affected, also known as victims had to go to courts such at the courts of Strasbourg seeking for justice. That was the only court that had human rights adopted into its system. However, later with the evolution of time and the industrial revolution, many courts and countries adopted the human rights law into their system. This became important because law is the weapon that can be used to punish a criminal. It is important because people would follow a proper conduct knowing that a superior power is watching them and they will be punished for their wrongs. This will reduce the rates of crimes in the society.
Impact of law in a family life.
Law acts as a protection in our family lives. It protects the husband from a greedy wife and an innocent wife from a greedy husband through laws such as Domestic law. Every person who is married is entitled to have a family lawyer. These lawyers will help a person seek justice if their husband or wife commits crimes such as assault, battery or bigamy. Domestic law also protects the kids in a family relationship. Parents are supposed to take care of their children, provide them a healthy environment, education and food. Failing to provide these facilities will make them criminals in the eye of the law.
Impacts of law in transportation.
When we talk about law and transportation, we can talk about the smallest example. That is the road rules on the drivers and pedestrians. Drivers have special rules such as owning a driver’s license to be able to drive and they are expected to follow the road rules. Similarly, a pedestrian should follow the rules such as walking in the right side of the road, using the zebra or pedestrian crossing to cross the road and avoid using mobile phones while on the road.
